The amount required is over 3 TB, which is obviously larger than a 2 TB iCloud or Apple One plan. ![]() When I try to enable it, I'm prompted that it will require 2x the amount of storage for my existing photo library (about 1.5 TB of my 2 TB plan). Now I'm unable to enable iCloud Photo Library. I chose to keep my local data when prompted to do so - especially for Photos.Īfter signing out of iCloud in System Preferences, I was able to resolve the original problem, which still took a little while. Exhausting other steps over the course of several days, I signed out of iCloud. ![]() I was troubleshooting an issue with Music/App Store/Books after installing the macOS Big Sur 11.2 update. MacOS Big Sur won't let me proceed without more iCloud storage than it appears possible to purchase. Has anyone come across a way to re-enable iCloud Photo Library after signing out and back into iCloud in macOS Big Sur? Specifically, I want to enable it for my large photo library in a) the same macOS User account, with b) the same iCloud account and c) without having to start a new local library for Photos.
